Customised, unique, Knightly Couture wedding gown for sale never used as a wedding dress! This gown was purchased in 2011 and worn indoors to a debutante ball for no more than three hours. The dress has been kept in its garment bag and never used again.
This dress was already couture-made, however was further customised with the addition of extra layers of tulle, glittered layers of tulle, and additional hand sewn pearls and sequin beading to the bodice. This dress is a genuine one off, and you will not see it at another wedding/similar due to this. The customisation costed an additional $1000 on top of the purchase price.
- Princess style ball gown, very full tulle skirt, with lace up corset-style bodice, that sits at the top of the hips. Sweet-heart neck line with a beautiful slightly 'v' back. Definitely a princess worthy dress!
- Off white, almost ivory colour, with ivory pearls, white sequins and beading, and silver and transparent multi coloured 'reflection' glitter. This dress literally shimmers in any and all light which is really beautiful on stages and in photographs. The dress does not require any undergarment such as a hoop or petty coat, as the thickness of the tulle layers means the dress sits as it does in the photos provided without the addition of any extra undergarments (very full and floaty).
- Marked a standard Australian size 12. I am an hourglass sized 8-10 and due to the lacing on the bodice, can comfortably fit a size 8-12. My waist is a standard 28 inches, and I am a 10E bra size - this dress fitted me securely with tight lacing, and I could comfortably wear it without a bra due to the sturdy support in the corseting.
- The dress is in 8/10 condition. It has some minor foundation marks on the inner bodice, but absolutely no stains, marks or such to the outer gown or skirting. The foundation marks are not seen when worn and will be easily removed with dry cleaning.
- The dress was worn with 5 inch heels. I am 155cm tall and the dress just skimmed the ground. It could easily be worn by someone taller, but would need to be taken up if you are shorter than me, or intend on wearing flats and are of a similar height.
I am selling as I will never wear the dress again, and I could use the money. I am happy for the dress to be tried on by Perth brides-to-be, and will ship it interstate at the purchasers expense. I would love for the dress to be worn to an actual wedding. |
