Made to measure from simplicity pattern by local dress maker Peggy Cox in 1986. This vintage ball gown, v neckline wedding gown with taffeta and french lace overlay.
A standard size 10 the measurements are approx: Bust 78cm, Waist 67cm, 147cm Length (Top of the back of the neck collar to bottom of the french lace overlay).
Zip back to middle of the back then finished with pearl button and loops to top of collar. Waistline is finished with box pleates and a row of fine seed pearls.
The gown is in excellent condition with no marks, stains, tears or holes. Was worn once and drycleaned after wedding and stored since. Would suit height of around 5'3 with 3 inch heels or a little taller as it was originally worn with a large hoop.
There is also 2.2m of the original moire taffeta in pristine condition available for alterations
