This stunning and elegant gown is from the La Sposa 2009-2012 collection made by Pronovias (Spain, style: Fanal).
The gown is strapless with a gentle sweetheart neckline and figure-flattering pleating down the trumpet-shaped bodice leading to a dramatic flared skirt and chapel length train. Made of soft royal satin in oyster/ivory, the gown has a built in corset and together with the soft boning and asymmetrical pleating provides the required support and fitted waistline and accentuates all figures into a tall hourglass figure.
The gown is AU size 8 and was altered at the bust and length (I am 5"2 and had 9.5cm heels on) and thus will fit size 6-8 or possibly small size 10 with a smaller bust. The gown was immediately professionally dry-cleaned and is in excellent condition.
I felt so glamorous in this gown and everyone LOVED it!! For someone not that tall or busty, the gown accentuated my body in all the right places and looked taller than I really was! Loved the dress and will be sad to see it go. |
