I worked with a local dress designer to create this beautiful wedding dress. I am still happily married but with 3 young children filling the (very small) house I want this dress to go somewhere it will be loved again. The dress is made from heavy champagne coloured satin with imported italian lace feature panel at the front. This lace is picked out with golden highlights. The skirt is full and can be worn as it is, but takes full effect when worn with a single or double hoop underskirt (not included).
There is a small train which can be hooked under after the wedding ceremony for easier dancing and socialising. I was a 16-18 when I wore this dress, and it was tailored to my size. However as this is a one of a kind handmade dress, it will support further tailoring to your exact size. The top of the dress has wide shoulder straps and drops to a vee neck. The front is gathered/rouched to flatter a larger tummy. The gathering has swarovski crystals in a latte colour which look lovely. The back of the dress is closed with a series of small buttons.
The dress has only been worn once! After the wedding I had it professionally cleaned and it has since been in storage. It is in excellent condition. The dress has a matching satin shawl which I did not wear, so this is in perfect condition and is being sold with the dress. |
