| This dress was purchased in July 2009 from a popular and reputable Bridal House in Adelaide, South Australia. An absolutely gorgeous gown - this dress was made to order for the Bride who unfortunately changed her mind about the style of dress she wanted after it had started being made! She has since purchased another gown which is perfect for her - but is now looking for a loving new home for this one! The gown is a size 10 - however as it has a lace up back - it is able to fit sizes anywhere up to size 14. (Current owner is a size 12-14 and it fit wonderfully). The gown is made from Ivory Satin, and also has silver/ivory/crystal embroidery and a beautiful delicate soft lace which twinkles and sparkles in the light. The front of the dress has embriodery and crystals over the bodice and scalloped lace around the top. The embroidery flows down to the waist where the gown opens up with a split. There is embroidery/crystals in the split which flows down to the hem of the gown, where there is lace which scallops around the entire hem. There is also tiny crystal beading down either side of the split. The back of the gown is especially stunning - it laces up with a thick ivory lace - and there are panels which are removable - so you can choose to have skin showing through the lace up, or you can have covered in panels. At either side of the lacing is embroidery and crystals which cascade down in a 'v' to another split in the gown. At the split an elegant train begins and there is embroidery/crystals all the way down to the end of the train which has scalloped lace all around. The gown has thin spaghetti straps but these can be removed and the gown worn as strapless - which was what was originally going to happen. There have been no alterations made to the gown - so it is regular length (original bride is 165cm tall and needed to have the dress taken up). It has come straight from the designers and has only been out of its bag to have photos taken. It does need pressing as there are a few wrinkles. This is an absolutely beautiful dress who needs a beautiful bride to wear it! If you are looking for an elegant, romantic gown which twinkles and sparkles as you float down the aisle - this is the dress for you!
